TEF – Test d’Évaluation de Français

The Alliance Française de Bridgetown is the only certified center in Barbados authorized to administer the TEF (Test d’Évaluation de Français).

The TEF is an international exam that measures your proficiency in French. It is recognized by the Canadian and French authorities and is required for immigration to Canada (including Express Entry, Quebec immigration, and Canadian citizenship applications).

  • International reference instrument to measure your French comprehension skills, designed and distributed by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIP)
  • From A1 to C2
  • Oral and written comprehension test, Oral and written expression test, Vocabulary & Syntax
  • Certificate to be retrieved 1 month after the exam, valid for 2 years

Registration

How do I apply for an exam?

There is no prerequisite condition to apply for an exam. All levels are welcome, from beginners to intermediate and advanced students. To register and pass your exam, please contact info@afbridgetown.org.

How can I pay?

Two options:

  • At the reception desk during working hours with cheque or by cash or by wire transfer.
